11 Mai 2009, 11:04I’m quite flattered by all the attention this is getting. I guess I’m on the right track. I had the idea suddenly but no actor, so I just googled for free public domain footage of any old men doing anything and composed this video out of those clips. Then I recorded the voice over and changed its pitch to sound like an old man. I had a psychodelic video like that depicting a dirty toilet, but zooppa staff removed it, they said it was offensive. It wasn’t even real… That video had a promising discussion starting. Someone asked me how they could see it again, it is on youtube under the 3 min masterpiece entries for Seattle Times this year’s contest. I’m glad they haven’t found this one offensive enough to forcibly remove. Or maybe they’re just cooler over there in Italy.
Oh, I’m ashamed to admit that I still figured out how to use the forum.
Changofilm, you know, that’s how I would do the pupil, if I ever finished figuring out the photoshop. I’m still struggling with trying to figure it out. -

Le immagini sono evidentemente girate per un’altro scopo… e non capisco bene l’operazione. Voterei basso, ma per ora non voto perché magari mi sveglio nel cuore della notte e dico “ho capito!”, e posso ancora votare

About your video, as I wrote I think it’s much more creative than the most part of the videos here on zooppa. Still is crazy and probably out of the brief but…who cares? We are here to challenge our ideas and to have fun, zooppa should be more like this in my opinion ;-)
The pupil? Oh I’ve just photoshoped the logo that you find on zooppa than I applied transparency on it and a motion path. I made everything on Final Cut, didn’t use any compositing software. Bye!
