11 Jul 2009, 08:22These pictures I took of the Sun in Venice Beach, this at the end of the day. S took these with a 4 mega pixel Canon. This camera was a throw away. Yes it was dropped and is is smoke heaven. I love photography. It is really nice to have something like a Canon Mark 3. But it seems I have always gotten the majority of my best shots from a point and shoot camera. With this in mind I went out on 07/10/2009 and purchased a inexpensive point and shoot. Canon PowerShot A2000IS. Even if you are professional this is a capable piece of hardware. Best of all this A2000IS affordable. As I was looking I kept going up the scale. It took 25 seconds to get up to a $20,000.00 setup. I forced myself to purchased the $200.00 PowerShot and walked out. As soon as this camera gets broken, I have a newborn so I expect this camera will get tossed off a pier in southern California.
